Integrity, in the objectivist sense of the word, is the refusal to separate action from convictions. I like this song very much because the singer shows he is a man of integrity.
Throught the song the singer says he had been in love with some girls at different times but those girls deceived him and that did not change his views on love.
It seems that love. for him, should be about one being loyal to the other person, this is expressed when he says he would rather be alone than have a relation with a girl who does not love him enough as to be only with him.
In a world where integrity is more and more scarce I think this song is valuable because it shows that one can act in accordance with his convictions and both should be inseparable.
